New Italy Rugby Kits 2012-2013- Adidas Italia Home Away Rugby Jerseys 12-13

These are the new Italy rugby jerseys 2012/2013, the new playing strips for the Italian national rugby team for this year’s autumn internationals when they play Tonga, the Wallabies and the All Blacks and the 2013 Six Nations. Italy were previously outfitted by Kappa and wore Kappa designed strips for the 2012 Six Nations. These new Italian rugby kits 12/13 have been made by Adidas, who have penned a deal to be official partners of the FIR till 2017.

The kits were officially unveiled on September 13, 2012 by Adidas.

Italian captain Sergio Parisse and his team mates are here seen modelling the new 2012/13 rugby kits. The home shirt is blue in colour, while the change/away/alternative kit is an all white one.

Both Adidas Italy kits are sponsored by Cariparma.

Italy join France and New Zealand in the list of major rugby nations to be outfitted by Adidas.

  2. They look alright, it’s just a standard Adidas template which isn’t a bad thing but they haven’t been as inventive as the French kit. It’s still going to be strange not seeing Italy wearing Kappa as they’ve been with that brand for as long as I remember.

    • You are fully right. Still I’m glad Adidas is not being “as inventive” as their Nike pals. What they did with the Pumas kit is embarrasing. I also agree Adidas did a great (and yes, inventive) work with the french kit.

  3. The away shirt is fantastic. Tried to buy from all web shops and even contacted adidas direct. No joy! What is the point of designing a kit, launching it, promoting it and then not selling it?

    • Thats right, I tried a lot finding the shirt and no joy, and my brother in law found it in Italy in vacation the last day. Just luck.
      🙂
