  1. The Asian5Nations has divisional leagues for developing rugby playing nations and covers an area of some 3 billion people. India is in the second division.

Will anybody be broadcasting to South Asia/S.E.Asia. I am particularly interested in knowing if there will be any coverage in India.

  2. No mention of SE Asia above.

As a diehard rugby fan (Qld reds & Wallabies) and resident of Indonesia, I would like to know which network will broardcast the 2011 RWC in SE Asia (Indonesia in particular), if any.

We have endured the year without Super 15 telecasts and we are all concerned the same will happen for the RWC.

  3. I agree, it’s been really irritating (not to say disappointing) the we’ve had no rugby in Indonesia this year at all. The Australia Network broadcasts hour after hour of AFL and not a rugby ball in sight, even this weekend with a TEST match on.

When I wrote to the AN they directed me to Setanta who told me to watch it on the web, that’d be great if my download times exceeded 0.5kbs…where we are this is impossible advice

I hope that we get the 2011 RWC in Indonesia somehow, come on IRB do something…

    • TSN is The Sports Network, holder of Canadian television rights for the Rugby World Cup.

Indonesian rights aren’t clear at this moment unfortunately.

      • does anybody know when they are broadcasting the games?

we are active supporters of France (allez les bleus !), but are not allowed to streaming the French TF1 channel in Turkey. Local pubs broadcasting live are not allowing kids, and are not open at the time of the matches anyway.

is our only solution begging a French family for an invitation in front of their TV?

thanks to you if you have the answer.

  4. Sorry to say, organizers has done awful job in giving rights to televisions since they are not covering every country, region.

I am concerned no one is showing in Pakistan? Similarly i have doubts in whole south east asia? If there is any network showing in india, Pakistan please let me know. Thanks
