This new Ireland World Cup Jersey 2011, manufactured by Puma, will be worn by the Irish national rugby team at their games during the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Ireland are in Group C for the 2011 Rugby World Cup, alongside Australia, Italy, the United States and Russia.

The new Ireland RWC 2011 jersey will be officially launched on 11th August 2011. Ireland’s first game at the 2011 World Cup is against the United States on 11th September. Ireland’s RWC 2007 campaign failed to advance beyond the group stages- they will be keen to avoid a repeat in RWC 2011.

The Ireland RWC Jersey is based on this design of the Ireland test jersey 2011. The 02 logo ( sponsors) does not appear on the RWC jersey- only the IRFU crest, Rugby World Cup 2011 logo and the Puma logo as per World Cup jersey regulations. The Irish World Cup jersey has a different position for the Puma logo than the regular test jersey- from the side, it moves below the collar. Puma have used the latest technology in the manufacturing of this Irish RWC 2011 jersey. The green top will be paired with white shorts.
