This is the new Golden Lions jersey 2012, the rugby shirt to be worn by the MTN Golden Lions in the 2012 Super Rugby season. The new Lions 2012 jersey has been made by Gilbert, who also used to make tops for the Blue Bulls before they switched to Puma. The Lions won the 2011 Currie Cup, but have so far not been able to make a major impact in Super Rugby.

The Lions Supporters version of the 2012 Super XV jersey differs slightly from the players’ version. MTN are the sponsors of the 2012 Lions Kit, which sticks to its traditional red coloured design with white hoops.
