Versatile Wallaby back James O’Connor scored a brilliant first try for the Melbourne Rebels but it was not enough for last season’s Super Rugby whipping boys to avoid defeat against NZ heavyweights Crusaders at the AAMI Park. The Rebels led 14-7 at half time, but the Crusaders scored two second half tries, through All Black Israel Dagg and centre, Adam Whitelock, to claim a 19-14 win. Continue reading →
