These are the new Edinburgh rugby shirts 15/16, Edinburgh’s new home and away tops for the new Pro 12 season. Made by Italian company Macron, the new Edinburgh 2015/16 strips were officially unveiled on August 19, 2015.
The new home jersey features a chainmail design with red banding and black sleeves, a uniform for Edinburgh’s players as they “go to battle” in the new Pro12 season. The away kit is a camo creation from the Macron stable, as the pics below show you.
The strips will be worn in Edinburgh’s pre-season fixtures against Romania in Melrose and Ulster at Goldenacre later this month.
The likes of Anton Bresler and Greg Tonks are here seen modelling Edinburgh Rugby’s new 15/16 kits.

If only Macron had the NZ super rugby contract, would look fantastic as crusaders kit.
Like the link with fighting in the shirts, in fact good effort all round.
Thats the problem, it looks too much like the Crusader’s kit and not enough like an Edinburgh kit.
The Away camo kit is fine for experimenting with as with all away kits (keeping within a certain palette scheme), but the Home/ First kits shouldnt be experimented with unless for special editions.
I hope Scottish Rugby doesn’t renew the Macron deal for Edinburgh as their kits for the capital team have on average been poor.
It looks like its based on a cow
