This is the new NZ Warriors nines jersey 2016, the New Zealand Warriors’ new special edition strip for the 2016 Auckland Nines. Made by Canterbury, the new Vodafone Warriors 9’s shirt was officially unveiled on 9 November, 2015.
Named the “Spirit of the Warrior”, the kit features a Maori Warrior and images representing each of the other 15 teams.
Warriors jerseys for the 9’s have always been unique, and this one uses a tattoo design featuring elements of earth, water, air and fire. Issac Luke is here seen modelling the Warriors 9’s top.
