Golden Lions Blue Jersey 2014- New Lions Rugby 125th Anniversary Commemorative Shirt Currie Cup 2014

The Xerox Golden Lions will wear a navy blue jersey (made by Canterbury) this weekend in the opening game of their 2014 Currie Cup against local rivals Blue Bulls. The navy jersey, the colours of Diggers Rugby club at the time, is known to be the inaugural Transvaal jersey and was first officially registered in the 1895 Currie Cup. The switch to the white and red jersey (their current colours) was only made in 1933.

New Leinster European Jersey 2014/15- Canterbury Leinster Rugby Champions Cup Kit 14/15

This is the new Leinster 3rd jersey 2014/2015, Leinster Rugby’s European shirt for the upcoming 2014/15 season. Made by Canterbury, the top was officially unveiled on 5th August, 2014 by the Irish club. The Kearney brothers and Luke Fitzgerald are here seen modelling Leinster’s European kit in the pic below.

The shirt retains Leinster’s blue, but also has black and yellow stripes on the front. Leinster are in Pool 2 of the 2014/2015 European Rugby Champions Cup along with Castres, Quins and Wasps Continue reading
