The Samoan national rugby union team have officially announced that they will wear BLK jerseys at the upcoming 2015 Rugby World Cup in England. Samoa wore Canterbury shirts in the recent 2014 autumn internationals after a payment dispute with BLK over sums dating back to 2012.

Rugby in Samoa has also been under a cloud in recent times, with players threatening to go a strike over a perceived lack of transparency and governance, and the Samoan RU president terming them “spoilt” children in return.

Samoa are in Group B of RWC 2015 along with South Africa, Japan, the United States and Scotland.
