England Rugby’s new home and away kits for RWC 2015 have been officially released today morning (July 6, 2015) by the RFU and Canterbury. England are hosts for this year’s World Cup, and are in the Group of Death alongside Wales and Australia.
The new England RWC home shirt is pretty traditional, but features some innovations which took more than “220 hours of testing and 250,000 miles of travel”, according to the official press release.
The new England RWC 2015 top features a 3D rose, which coach Stuart Lancaster says emphasises the “unbreakable bond” between players in the team.
The alternate/change/away kit for RWC 2015 is a two toned red creation from Canterbury.
England, World Cup winners in 2003, reached the quarterfinals of the last event before losing to France.
As with all Canterbury products- supporters have three versions to choose from for buying the shirt- test, pro and classic
