This is the new Dragons 2016 alternate jersey, the change shirt for the St.George Illawarra Dragons as they prepare for the upcoming 2016 National Rugby League season. Made by ISC, the new Dragons alternate shirt was first unveiled on October 25, 2015.
The strip remains red, but features a subtle graphic with a fire-breathing dragon, as can be seen in the pic below. The design was made in consultation with Dragons players, with an aim to create “something different” while retaining the traditional red colour.
Looks like they consulted Josh Dugan for advice, and got his tats printed on the jersey.
