These are the new Widnes shirts 2016, Widnes Vikings’ new uniforms for the 2016 Super League season. Made by O’Neills, the new Widnes RL strips were officially unveiled on 28 October, 2015.
The club have unveiled two kits- one black and one white, but have chosen not to have them specifically designated as “home” or “away”
Instead, Vikings skipper Kevin Brown will decide which of the two uniforms the club will wear on each match day, as part of the “Captain’s Call”
The kits use Coolite technology and feature Viking artwork. A single star commemorating their late 80’s World Club Challenge triumph can also be seen on the shirt.
Select Security are the primary shirt sponsors, with Riverside College, Halton CCG, Backhouse Group, Nutrition X, Parklands Sports Club, Motorpoint, MFG Construction, WMR Metal Recycling, J Mallinson (Ormskirk Ltd), Gerrard O’Donnell, Skin Deep Aesthetics, Gale Building Supplies and Viking Sports Foundation also having their logos on the kits.

Quite nice looking tops, although the other bits regarding not designating a home/away jersey looks like marketing mumbo jumbo.
