This is the new NZ sevens kit 2014/2015, the New Zealand national sevens team’s new home strip for the 2014/15 HSBC Sevens Series. New Zealand have consistently dominated the 7’s circuit for the last few years and the likes of DJ Forbes, Tim Mikkelson and co. will be serious medal contenders at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

The sevens side, coached by Gordon Tietjens are the reigning IRB 7’s champions, and narrowly missed out on gold at the Commonwealth games earlier this year, losing to South Africa in an intriguing final.

The new New Zealand sevens top has been made by Adidas, with the firm also releasing new home and away kits for the All Blacks. The strip made its debut in the 7’s tournament in Dubai on 5th December, 2014, with the side first wearing it in their pool opener against Japan. Continue reading →

Along with the release of the new All Blacks 2014/2015 home kit, Adidas have also unveiled a new NZ away rugby shirt for 14/15.

The alternate All Blacks kit 14/15 was officially unveiled on 13th November, 2014 and is here seen modelled by the likes of Jerome Kaino, Sam Cane and Aaron Smith in the pics below.

This is the France’s new 7’s rugby jersey 2014/2015, the new uniform for the French national sevens side as they prepare for a crucial year on the 14-15 sevens circuit. Made by Adidas, the new shirt was officially unveiled on 2nd February, 2015, a short while after new home kit for the 15 man side was unveiled in November 2014..

France will debut their new sevens rugby kit at the 2015 Wellington Sevens. They wore their old kit at the first few events of the 2014/15 HSBC Sevens season at the Gold Coast, Port Elizabeth and Dubai.

This is the new France home rugby shirt 2014/15, France’s new home kit as they embark upon the autumn internationals and the 2015 Six Nations. Made by Adidas, the new Les Bleus jersey was officially unveiled by the FFR on 6th November, 2014. France’s new 14/15 rugby strip will be first worn this weekend against Fiji.

This is the new NZ rugby shirt 2014/15, the new strip for reigning Rugby World Cup holders New Zealand. The new All Blacks 14/15 kit has been made by Adidas and was officially unveiled on 5th November, 2014 in London. It will make its debut this weekend against England at Twickenham and has been dubbed “the Blackest jersey ever“.

The new AB’s rugby jersey, here seen modelled by skipper Richie McCaw and other All Black stars Dan Carter, Israel Dagg, Kieran Read and Jerome Kaino, does not feature a white collar, and is again sponsored by AIG.

Adidas have produced two jerseys- one for the forwards and the other for the backs. For the forwards, there’s extra fabric for binding, rucking and mauling, while the jersey for the backs has been designed to make it more difficult to grab hold of. Both tops are made of woven carbon fabric.
