New Zealand’s national rugby league team will wear Macron at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup after the Italian firm inked a three year contract to replace BLK. The new Macron Kiwis jersey will be released soon, with the Kiwis first set to wear the uniform in their ANZAC test in May 2017.
Welsh Pro12 outfit Scarlets have inked a new kit deal with Italian manufacturer Macron that will see the latter make kits for the club beginning the 2017/18 season. The deal is for a period of five years (till 2022).
Macron are Scarlets’ fourth kit partner in the last decade. Their current deal is with KooGa and they have also previously had made kits by Rhino Rugby and Burrda.
Macron currently supply kits to both Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh in the Pro12, Northampton Saints in the AVIVA Premiership and the Scottish national team (both 15’s and 7’s) Continue reading

Leigh Centurions are the new entrants for SL 2017, while Hull Kingston Rovers have been relegated to the Championship. These are the new South Wales Ironmen jerseys 2017, newly rebranded club SW Ironmen’s new home and away tops for the upcoming Kingstone Press League 1 season, made by Macron. The Ironmen are the latest incarnation of the South Wales Scorpions, who have opted for both name and ground changes in the 2017 season. They will be moving from Caerphilly to Merthyr Tydfil this year. The town was once the biggest producer of iron in the world and the board opted for a name switch as they felt the “Scorpions” had been associated too long with a struggling team. Continue reading
