This is the new Auckland Blues Super rugby jersey 2013, Blues’ new home kit for the 2013 season. The Blues had a poor 2012 SR season, despite managing to beat the Bulls in Pretoria in the opening rounds and beating the Brumbies in the last round of the competition, and will be hoping for a marked improvement in their fortunes under new coach Sir John Kirwan. The names of Northland, North Harbour and Auckland ( the domestic unions that make up the Blues franchise) have been incorporated into the collar of the new Blues 2013 top and more interestingly, one can see the Rangitoto volcano motif on the front of the jrsey.
The new Blues 2013 home shirt has been made by Adidas.
BNZ will be the principal sponsors of this 2013 Blues Super 15 shirt.

Best looking Blues shirt in a while, the ad’s on the sleeve are massive though.
@Nickolas_Name, those so called “ads” are supposed to be there. Plus if the competitions logo was not there then we would have quite some trouble wouldn’t we? Also those what you call “ads” are actually regulation logos all New Zealand Conference require and lastly those logos are the same size as last years jersey.
I’m not against the fact that the sponsors are there I support the Ospreys and our shirts are plastered with them. I just think it’s a shame that they’re affecting shirt designs. Just look at European Football/Soccer matches, Adidas can now no longer give shirts full stripes due to sleeve sponsors and now they stop halfway down. If we go back to the Blues shirt then you can’t tell me that the shirt wouldn’t be as visually effective if the sleeve sponsor were half the size. People aren’t idiots they are going to be aware that they’re watching Super Rugby.
