New Leicester Tigers Kit 2015-16- Leicester KooGa Home Shirt 15-16

AVIVA Premiership side Leicester Tigers have today (July 16, 2015) officially unveiled their new 2015/16 season home strip, made by new kit partners KooGa. The shirt is the first one to be made by KooGa after the latter inked a six season deal (reportedly worth £4.5m) with the club to replace Canterbury.

The new Leicester Tigers 2015/2016 home jersey features broad green and white hoops with red detailing, as can be seen in the pics below.

Leicester finished 3rd in the 2014/15 Premiership rugby season, but lost their playoff semifinal 47-10 to Bath at the Rec.

Leicester Tigers’ new KooGa strip will be completed by green shorts and predominantly green socks.

The KooGa shirt will be available in two styles for fans wishing to purchase- playing replica and traditional cotton.

  1. Would have looked better with red instead of white, and the having white with the thin red and green as the change shirt, but all in all a good effort when compared to Canterbury shirts this year.

  2. All I would add to Kevin’s coments would be at this point in time KooGa  seem to be makeimg better kits than Canterbury are I would us this kit & the new Uruguay R.W.C 2015 home kit to show that is the case. The only nice kits
Canterbury have made recently are both Japan R.W.C 2015 kits and myb Queensland Maroons kit for S.O.O in Rugby League 2015.

  3. I’m not sure where to begin. I don’t like the obscene amount of white, I hate the gradient, I hate the fact you can barely read the Kooga logo. All in all it’s chuffing awful.

  4. Not as bad as previous years. My major complaint has been not enough white on the shirts but Kooga have taken it too far, get rid of the green part of the gradient and change the sleeves to green and you would be sorted, the cotton “Classic Version” looks good though.
