This is the new Blues rugby shirt 2016, Auckland Blues’ new home strip for the 2016 Super Rugby season. Made by Adidas, the new Blues S18 jersey was officially unveiled on December 7, 2015. The Blues will have a new coach this season in legendary All Black Tana Umaga and will be keen to put their recent seasons of mediocrity behind them.

The Auckland based franchise will however have to do it without key players like Kevin Meleamu and Charles Piutau, but there is plenty of talent in NZ’s biggest franchise area to turn things around.

Designed by Luke Crawford and Dave Burke, the new Blues SR jersey features intricate artwork, with the Rangitoto Island, North Harbour, Auckland and Northland all represented in the shirt.
