Hull Kingston Rovers have today (June 23, 2016) officially unveiled a special edition strip that they will wear in their fixture against Leeds Rhinos next month. This charity shirt, made by Fi-Ta, pays tribute to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the charity that saves lives at sea. £5 from the sale of every jersey will be donated to the RNLI by the club
It looks like it was designed by health and safety!
I quite like this actually, despite it being quite “novelty”. Big fan of the RNLI and they deserve all the support and publicity they can get.
I don’t think this shirt would suit the casual fan, but on a professional rugby player it looks fairly good. Not bad for a one-off charity shirt – I’ve seen much worse!
