Made by Canterbury, the new Irish away rugby kit is maroon (purple) in colour and pays tribute to Lansdowne Road, the sport’s oldest ground It was officially unveiled on September 22, 2016.

Love the shirts from Canterbury this year, but I worry that these colours for ireland are to like the green, especially when they play SA.
I do like keeping the traditional badge in green, I think England could have done this with the navy kit and had a white badge in the sew on style of the home kit.
