Adidas have officially announced that they will be ending their 18 year association with the British and Irish Lions. The Lions first wore Adidas on the 1997 tour to South Africa, and wore Adidas designed strips on their 2013 tour to Australia. However Adidas’ new £750m investment into a new shirt partnership with Premier League giants Manchester United has meant downsizing on other fronts, and the Lions are apparently one of the victims, with the German kit manufacturer not choosing to extend the contract despite the shirts selling well.

Red France Rugby Shirt 2015- New France Away Rugby Jersey 2015 Six Nations

This is the new France away rugby shirt 2015, the new French alternate rugby strip that they will debut this weekend against Scotland in the Six Nations. Made by Adidas and officially revealed on 5th February, 2015, France’s new away top is red in colour, a sharp change from their usual change uniforms.

Official- New BLK England RL Shirt Deal confirmed- 4 year kit partnership

We had hinted at this last month when we saw the academy side in action against the Australian Schoolboys, but it is now official.

BLK have replaced ISC as England Rugby League’s official kit partners, inking a four year deal that begins this year (2015). The news was officially announced by the RFL today, meaning that England will wear BLK branded jerseys at RLWC 2017.

The deal also includes apparel for all RFL match officials.

The news of the deal is a further blow to ISC, who have also lost the Wigan (to Errea) and Saints (to O’Neills) deals.

The new England BLK rugby league shirt 2015 will be launched later this year, with the design likely to make its first appearance when the Kiwis play the national side. Continue reading
